Welcome to the Alpha Program for ProcessMaker I/O.

What is the Alpha Program for ProcessMaker I/O (AP)?

We at ProcessMaker believe that listening to developers is a great way to create a great product. Our Alpha Program lets the development community get hands-on with our new product by participating in discussions, influencing future product development planning, and providing feedback.

The Alpha Program allows developers to try a cloud version of our software to evaluate all our features. Have fun creating something awesome!

How Can I Participate in the Alpha Program?

The Alpha Program is open to the entire development community. However, interested developers need to apply through the Alpha Program Enrollment Form and wait 30 to 40 mins for an instance to be deployed and a welcome email to be sent with login credentials.

ProcessMaker is considering a large number of slots to be made available to developers. In the case all slots are taken, the enrollment process will stop until our IT department allows our infrastructure to scale further (the infrastructure scales automatically but our budget doesn't (smile)).

What is the Duration of the Alpha Program?

The duration of the program is 3 months, starting on 8 Jun 2017 and running until 08 Sep 2017. The early bird registration/waiting list will open on 15 May 2017.

Are There Tier Restrictions on API Requests or Data Storage?

No, we are not planning to put any restrictions on the number of requests or storage size for the Alpha Program, but if you know your numbers, please provide them at enrollment time. Our DevOps team will be monitoring all instances; if an instance starts consuming large amounts of resources, we will be notified and the instance will be moved to another environment  to avoid performance lags for other Alpha Program users. New instances will be scaled to perform better based on the rates stated in your application.

What Other Resources Can Developers Access as a Part of the Alpha Program?

Participants will be available to access the following features:

  • The enrollment program manual

  • The example source code project created on top of ProcessMaker I/O

  • Development and architectural documentation

  • Getting started documents.

  • Process Masker I/O API documents

  • SDKs for the major programming languages

What Channels are Provided to Receive Feedback from the Alpha Program Participants?

AP participants are not required to provide written feedback; however, we are enabling the following channels to receive feedback:

What are the Responsibilities of the Alpha Program Participants?

There are almost no responsibilities on the part of the AP participants:

What are the Responsibilities of ProcessMaker Regarding the Alpha Program?

AP is released to the community without any responsibilities on the part of ProcessMaker except the following:

What Happens After the Alpha Program Concludes?

Participants are invited to participate in the next program in the ProcessMaker product family. Participants will receive early bird information about anything related to the ProcessMaker development lifecycle, depending on the level of contact selected during enrollment for the AP.
