Summary
The Retail/Personal Account Opening is an out-of-the-box solution sold to banking customers wishing to digitize their personal account onboarding process. Bank customers fill out the application online completely by web entry. Submitted applications are then reviewed by the banker, who reviews the information provided, as well as any reports generated from an OFAC search on the application and a ChexSystems integration that also performs a check on the business and the signers involved. Bankers also perform due diligence and risk analysis on the customer based on information provided by the customer. After review, applications may be flagged as a risk depending on the outcome of the risk analysis, or if any of the signers are located outside of the US, and other reasons. Flagged applications are then escalated to a BSA officer or another individual responsible for flagged applications. Demo applications are never flagged, and thus always continue to the Board Account task, where the banker manually provides an account number. For customers to opt to connect to their core through NexSoft, the account number is generated automatically by their core and the boarding results are then displayed to the banker. For demos, the account number is always provided manually. After the account is boarded, the customer who completed the application then receives a welcome email notifying that their account is now available and their disclosures are provided by logging back into ProcessMaker.
